Terms of Use

1. Definitions

• Application means the Bible On Your Feed app made available on the App Store.
• App Store means the digital distribution service operated by Apple Inc.
• Company ("we," "us," "our") means Grip Digital Ltda, CNPJ 60.274.855/0001-32.
• Account means the optional account you may create with an email and password.
• Content means the discoveries, texts, images, videos, maps and other material we publish in the Application.
• Service means the Application and this website, together or separately.
• You means the person accessing or using the Service.

2. Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your use of Bible On Your Feed. By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your information.

3. Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. The service

Bible On Your Feed presents short Bible discoveries in a swipeable feed. Each day you can open a limited number of new discoveries; the current limit is shown in the app and resets at midnight in your time zone. Discoveries you open are kept in your collection in Explore, where you can revisit them at no cost. Discoveries you have not found yet appear locked until they show up in your feed.

The order of discoveries in your feed is chosen automatically. We add new Content over time and may change, add or remove features, Content or the daily limit at any time to keep the Service current and sustainable.

5. Accounts

You can use the Application without an account. In that case, we automatically create an anonymous session to save your activity, without linking it to your name or email. If you delete the Application or change devices without an account, your collection and likes cannot be recovered.

If you create an account, you are responsible for providing a valid email address, keeping your password confidential and for activity under your Account. The Application does not currently offer password reset by email; if you lose access, contact us and we will help where we can verify that the Account is yours. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

You can delete your Account at any time in the Application under Account > Delete account. Your Account and its data are permanently deleted within 25 hours, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Price

The Application is free to download and use. It contains no ads and no in-app purchases.

7. About our content

Scripture. Scripture quotations are from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which is in the public domain.

AI-generated images and videos. Images and videos in the Application are illustrations created with the help of artificial intelligence. They are artistic reconstructions meant to help you picture the biblical text. They are not photographs, historical records or exact depictions of people, places or events.

Commentary. Explanations of context, original words and passages reflect our editorial interpretation and are offered for education and personal study. They are not a substitute for your own reading of Scripture or for the guidance of your church or pastor. We work to keep the Content accurate, but it may contain errors. If you find one, please tell us at the email below.

8. Your license

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Application and view the Content on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. You may share discoveries using the share feature in the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, download in bulk, scrape, republish, sell or otherwise commercially exploit the Content outside the Application.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Application, except where the law allows it.
• Use bots, scripts or multiple sessions to access the Service automatically or to get around the daily limit.
• Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

10. Notifications

Daily reminders are optional. They are scheduled on your iPhone only after you give permission, and you can turn them off at any time in the Application under Account or in your iPhone Settings.

11. Intellectual property

The Application, the Content (except Scripture text in the public domain), and the Bible On Your Feed name, design and logo are the property of Grip Digital Ltda or its licensors and are protected by law. Except for the license in Section 8, these Terms do not give you any rights to them.

12. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, as described in the Privacy Policy, and may link to external websites. We are not responsible for third-party services or websites, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your Account or the Application. We may suspend or end your access, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections 7, 11, 14, 16 and any provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply after termination.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grip Digital Ltda will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim related to it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of your country, including mandatory consumer protection rights.

15. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the Application from the App Store, you also agree to the following:

• Agreement between you and us. These Terms are between you and Grip Digital Ltda only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Application and its Content.
• Scope of license. Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the Application may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
• Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for any maintenance and support of the Application. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.
• Warranty. To the extent any warranty applies and is not effectively disclaimed, we are solely responsible for it. If the Application fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, of the Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Application.
• Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Application or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the Application fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
• Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that the Application or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
• Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Application.
• Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
• Questions and complaints. Send any questions, complaints or claims about the Application to the contact details in Section 18.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you live.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes when possible. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
